Functional Masterbatch
Anti-rodent and anti-termite functional masterbatch is mainly used for production of various kinds of anti-rodent and anti-termite wire and cable, computer wire, rubber hose, packing and construction materials. The main ingredient to anti-rodent is the capsaicin which is non-toxic and has high active ingredient with decomposition temperature of 240ºC. Its pungent ingredient can strongly stimulate oral mucosa and gustatory nerve of rodents and make them detest to masticate wire and cable so it can effectively prevent wreck of rodents and drive them off.
Anti-termite function is specially useful to resist subteranean termite. The product selects pyrethrin, carbamates and third-generation new organic phosphate. It has no function of “three-causing” (carcinogenic, teratogenesis and mutagenesis) to human body and is a new-type anti-termite agent with medium and low toxicity, high efficiency and long half-life period. It has properties of strong contact-killing and knock-down force, rapid effect, good heat and sunlight stability with decomposition temperature ≥ 220ºC. In course of processing it is prohibited to mix with alkaline substances as it shall degrade its effect under alkaline condition.
