Photovoltaic Field
According to different types, the photovoltaic cable has insulation/sheath integrated structure,single insulation structure without sheath and compound insulation structure. When two-layer structure is selected, there are some combinations of thickness however the total thickness is higher than that of Germany Standard and outside diameter is also larger.
UL Standard has no requirement of content of halogen in element of wire or cable however its requirements of burning test are higher than that of TÜV Standard. Some products only with UL certification all adopt materials of insulation and heath with low volume of halogen, and their burning property and cost are more advantageous than those without flame retardant of halogen. UL Standard does not limit to use fluoroplastic with synthetic outstanding property as the material of sheath of cable but this material is refused by Europe Union. Opel polymer can meet both standards: TÜV 2Pfg 1169/08.2007 and UL470.
